Oregon Pics

Of course mom is confused as to what she has already posted . . .

This is a picture of the birds who would come to our jetty to taunt me.

The beach from our jetty

The fog showed up a few days.

Us with dad on the jetty.

With mom at Cannon Beach.

On the hike to the Octopus Tree at Meares Lighthouse.

The beautiful coastline.

Fog rolling in on coast.

We may or may not have muddy paws.

Official Announcement

An Official Announcement from the Mayorz Office

For those of you who have not already read the news in the Blogville Gazette, we want to announce that Lexi has formally withdrawn from the mayoral race.  Her health is such that she cannot put the attention and focus on the campaign so she has made the difficult decision to disband her campaign team.

Oh behalf of the Election Committee and all the residents of Blogville, we want to thank Lexi for running such a clean and honorable campaign.  We wish her the best and send all our thoughts and prayers to Lexi and her family.  We hope that she can fully turn her attention on feeling better and spending time with her loved ones.  That is the most impawtent thing right now and we hope everyone will stop by and wish her well.  You can find Lexi HERE.

Hiking in Oregon

Mom says she is never going to get the photos me and Stanley took sorted out.  So we thought we would share a few with you.  We went on one really short hike to see the waterfall.  There wasn't a lot of water but it fell from over 300 feet.

The short trail was very green.  Mom kept saying we should watch out for ticks.

There were huge trees (not like at Dory's place).  We don't see too many huge trees in Utah.

Later in the day, we saw this fella just staring at us.

This was on the trail to the lighthouse.

The actual trail.

We went on another hike, the one where Stanley was nearly killed when a big black dog pushed Stanley off the trail and if not for his harness he would have fallen down into the ocean.  See that fog?  By the time we got to the end of the trail it totally closed in on us and we couldn't even see the ocean!  It was supposed to be a good whale watching spot.

Some of the trail was really rough due to so many tree roots.

But me and Stanley liked the challenge.

We liked jumping on and over all the roots.

The fact there were muddy spots was just a bonus.

On another hike we took it had so much growth from trees and ferns that we thought we made a wrong turn and went to someplace tropical.

Mom was amazed!  It was the trail where the bulldog wanted to eat my face.

We had lots of hiking fun when we weren't at the beach!  Next year when we have the once-in-a-lifetime TOTAL eclipse we are going to go back to Oregon so we can see it!

Hot Water!

OMD! We are kinda in hot water with mom!  She was counting on us to help her with all the post-vacation chores and instead we took off to show our pals Christmas & Oreo around Utah.  Check it out here!

Oreo, where are you? Get over here!

We're Home!

Just a little post to let you know we got home last night.  Now mom says she needs to get a bunch of laundry done and run errands.  Whatever!  Me and Stanley think they are just excuses.

We don't have our photos sorted out but thought you might like to see the jellyfish on our beach.  It was really big, big as a dinner plate!  There were lots and lots of little ones too but we liked this one and named it Welch.

This was our beach.  We stayed at Barview Jetty on the beautiful Oregon Coast.  Dad says we are going back there next year to watch the once-in-a-lifetime total eclipse.

Of course you want to see a picture of us!

Mom liked this sign.  She said they recycle EVERYTHING in Oregon!

On the last night before we got home we had troubles again.  Our pawrents ended up calling AAA two times!  Once for a dead battery on the way out and then again for a flat tire on the way home.

We also drove through a fire but you have to look at mom's facebook page to see the video cuz mom deleted it from the phone before me and Stanley could upload it.  What the dog??

Anyway, it will take a few days to catch up with everyone.  We bet there's a ton of stuff at the Mayorz Office that needs our attention too!

Help!

Help! We were dognapped by these unscrupulous pirates and they are demanding a million green papers for our release!
